Display Fever commissioned the creation of a comprehensive visual identity for their debut physical exhibition, The Fire. The exhibition features the work of 17 international artists, addressing themes of identity, gender, feminism, health, accessibility, and the climate crisis. Display Fever’s core concept, Feverism, emphasizes political awareness and collective action within the arts. The visual identity was designed to reflect the manifesto of Feverism, channeling its electrifying energy and community-driven spirit.

The Fire challenges the dominant structures of the art world, advocating for inclusivity and collaboration. The visual identity needed to encapsulate this fervor and create a sense of urgency and shared purpose, bringing the manifesto to life through bold and engaging design.

Exhibition’s lockup combines striking typography with a tribal motif that embody the fiery energy of The Fire. Sharp, angular text reflects the defiant nature of Feverism, while fluid forms represent the collaborative and interconnected themes explored by the artists. The lockup sets the tone for the exhibition's identity, marrying strength with dynamism.

The poster features an intense color palette dominated by shades of red, symbolising both passion and the urgency of the themes at the exhibition’s core. Futuristic typography contrasts with organic shapes. Sculptural motif in the background references the conceptual and physical balance within the exhibition.

The social media assets were designed to ensure a consistent and engaging presence across platforms. Instagram posts highlight exhibition details. A consistent typographic treatment unify the posts, visually echoing the identity established in the poster and other materials.

The zine serves as an informative companion to the exhibition, offering deeper insights into each artist’s work and the Feverism concept.
